Inca/Catholic Spanish Art

When Pizarro came to South America, he tried to make the Incas practice Christianity. However, as so many rulers in history have learned, it is difficult to force a religion onto another people, and the Incas managed to incorporate their own religion into that of the Catholics.

Spot the difference

First of all, the Spanish wanted to put their stamp on the Inca empire, so they established a Cusco School of Art, to make the artists copy great works of art from their own country.
